Allow me to introduce myself. My name is David Saxman, and I wish to offer you my services in the areas of Video Production, Video Editing, Project Support, Format Conversion, and Animation.

I have worked as Chief Technology Officer and Technical Director at Pitch Inc in Manhattan for 4 years. In that position I operated in several spheres of production and post-production work. These include video editing, 3D animation (my skills there emphasize modelling), and network administration.Additionally, I was responsible for project flow managment, and supervising the work of freelance animators and compositors to maintain consistency in their work on a host of TV commercials. I was in charge of purchasing for the hardware and software needs of the studio. I also provided video support for various staff members on frequent occasions.
I helped launch, and provided all the video compression for the PitchTV Website. This on-line magazine hosted a film festival in its 'Cinematics' section. I also produced a theatre-style showcase of the film festival at various night-spots in the NYC area.
In 2001 I had an article published in Millimeter Magazine on the subject of Motion Matching software (I did all the technical research for Associate Editor Steve Katz). I have frequently worked with Mr Katz doing hardware evaluations for his Millimeter Magazine reviews.

I currently maintain my own editing and rendering network in my home studio, with capabilities ranging from nonlinear editing through compositing and 3D animation. I also own a Sony DCR TRV-950 3 chip DV camcorder. I am available to meet your production needs.

At this time I desire a stable position with a cutting-edge company to continue utilizing and developing my technical skills. Short of that, I am also available on a freelance basis as needed.
